They want someone who has solution selling experience – understands outsourcing, offshoring – consultative. Not from a product or licencing type of background.
They really want someone that has sold to companies in the States
Travel is roughly 30% to 40%
Salary Base $140,000 – OTE $250K Ideally but can go up to $150K or $160K if good candidate and OTE $300K
They are NOT looking for people in infrastructure sales.
- Experience with technology consulting firms and/or digital agencies is a MUST.

Our client is looking for a Senior Sales Executive who is a hunter and closer. You will be reporting to the SVP – Sales. Our client seeks a proficient and well-experienced individual to be a part of their sales team as senior sales executive who will meet their goals and be a significant contributor to sales pipeline, sales strategy, sales planning and shaping go-to market execution. In short you have to be a phenomenal hunter (door opener) and great closer (quarterbacking deals through sales cycle and closer) with proven experience in IT professional services industry and technology out sourcing. Our client is looking for technology sales people focussed on selling e-commerce and digital commerce solutions.

- Very strong experience selling in e-commerce and digital commerce solutions and professional services in “Start-ups”, “Retail”,”Logistics”, “Telecom”.
- Must have majority of experience selling in USA & Canada.
Role Requirements:
The Sales executive will be responsible for primarily selling in USA & Canada:
- Having extensive experience with technology professional services and solution selling. Experience with technology consulting firms and/or digital agencies is a MUST.
- Experience selling Digital Commerce and e-Commerce solutions and Retail experience is a MUST.
- Expert management consultant who has sold “Digital Transformation”, “Application Migration/Modernization” and “Application/product Engineering” engagements.
- Very strong experience with consultative selling.
- Strong domain knowledge of strategy consulting and solutions in Public Cloud (AWS & Azure), Mobility, CRM, Analytics/BI and system integration.
- Expert in technology outsourcing – nearshore/offshore.
- Has elaborate network of blue chip clients and executive list (with strong relationships) from medium and large companies (Tier 2 and Tier 3) that can be leveraged.
- Extensive experience in leading response to RFPs and writing winning proposals.
- Developing new client relationships and new opportunities for our client to deliver IT services.
- Hit the ground running from day one.
- Self Starter: Can work completely independently with minimal support.
- Providing leadership and creating strategic roadmap and execution plan for our business development activities in our Vaughan location.
Key Responsibilities: Your primary area of responsibility will be to grow the business and bring in new accounts and guide to successful bids. You will take the lead in pitches and closing deals sizes between $ 50K – $ 5,000,000 USD with medium & large sized companies predominantly. Reporting to the SVP Sales, you will work with the Senior Management and your peers:
- Must have US travel/work visa with extensive proven track record of selling within different jurisdictions in USA.
- Developing specific sales strategies to rapidly grow the business, with existing IT service offerings
- Actively working to attract and retain lifetime customers and ensuring customer relationships are managed
- Developing and meeting growth targets that effectively use corporate tools, services and resources
- Submitting required paperwork and written materials in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining high level presentation skills for use within medium and enterprise accounts, locations and regions.
Proficiency Requirements:
- Expertise in both new sales and account management roles.
- Proven sales record for selling IT services focussed on selling web, mobile and cloud custom software development services.
- Success in growing account relationships and professional services revenue.
- Expert at mapping accounts, research and creating tactical plans for mid-market and tier 2/3 enterprises
- A proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with employees and customers of all levels.
